Memories

Kevin was a happy child, gentle, caring and full of fun. Among our memories of him are how, when he was 12, he would get up at 5am on a Saturday morning to help the milkman on his round. The love and companionship he had with his dog Kas and how she would follow him everywhere, even on his paper round. The caravan holidays he loved in Deal that we spent with all our family friends. How he was a great electrician, an occupation he enjoyed and was well respected in. The love he had for his Mum and Dad, his son, his sisters and brothers in law, his niece and nephews. How he was brilliant at helping others and always there for people, but never asked for help in return. His love of motorbykes and the good times he spent with his biker friends, especially in France. His fond memories of growing up in Shortlands and the friends he made there. His nostalgia for the 70's, the TV shows, films and of course his retro T shirts. The music he loved, from heavy rock, which he played loud enough to blow the roof off, to Madonna, with a little bit of Tom Jones in between. His love of Beckenham........and all the pubs in the high street. His key fettish, you would never see Kev without his trademark bunch of keys, usually hanging off his jeans. His nickname, Smudger. His dry wit and brilliant sense of humour. He had an uncanny ability to remember jokes and always had a collection that he could reel off at the drop of a hat. Kev was everything to us and we will always miss him and although he is no longer with us,we all have our own special memories of him that will stay with us forever. xxx We respected his wishes for organ donation and have found great comfort in knowing that he has given 5 people the chance of a new life. Rest in Peace our Kevinx
